Any news on the feature lost from the older version with grouping by email accounts?

It’s called “Accounts overview screen” and has been covered numerous times in the past, please use the search in the forum.

Just a few examples:

Please bring back the accounts overview page. When you have several email accounts that’s the only way to clearly see what’s coming in and where. (Please don’t say the tiny color bar is doing that) If it’s not broken why fix it ? I read you don’t intend to bring it back ? Why ? If you don’t want to bring it back, there’s no reason for me to use this. People, any recommendations for other apps ?

When can we have the 'Account Overview Screen' back?

I just upgraded to the new K9 mail client on my phone and I am really disappointed that there is no option to enable the old Account Overview Screen. I have searched this forum for answers and found that it was promised that the Account Overview Screen will be back in version 6.2. Now my version seems to be 6.202 but I don’t see any option to enable the account overview screen and start the client with that screen. Is there any info on when it will become available? Thank you

Seriously, Why Remove Account Overview?

Subject says it all, why remove such a simple feature used by so many and then double down and refuse to replace it? Makes no sense to me… I realize I can open the account switcher and collapse the folders to essentially see all my accounts with number of unread messages, but that doesn’t help me manage my starred emails. The best part of the account overview screen was the displayed number of unread AND starred emails coupled with the ability to tap either number to see a view filtered to exa…
