Emails stuck in outbox with poor 4G

I have searched internet and forum and there are similar but solutions there do not apply.

If I try to send an email with poor 4g data the email fails without any error and is stuck in outbox. K9 does not retry to send it when I am back in good 4G or wifi.

Is there a setting I have missed to enable this.

People claim you can resend from the outbox but that has never worked for me.

There is no setting, it’s a known issue: https github com thunderbird/thunderbird-android/issues/4602

Until this is fixed you can try the workaround I described there.
