As long as Tbird doesn’t show account pictures, having the email list showing is fairly useless because there’s no way to keep them apart. I have 2 each of Yahoo + Gmail and besides the “account color” they all look the same.
So please undo this latest change, or at least make it an option - better yet: Bring back account pictures!

I’ve got several email accounts on my own domain setup on my phone in the app. Now all I can see is the first two letters on the left side of the screen which are now showing as all the same, instead what the mailboxes actually are so I’m having to try to remember which mailbox I set as which color and in which order I had them. I don’t want to have to go into settings everytime I need a reminder!!!
The old layout was way more intuitive to use.

Should be the case, but not a total solution. The basic design is flawed and needs to go.
100% confirmation. Working with 8 company-accounts, of course all with the same domain-ending. Completely lost in the new view, showing 8 times the same content. PLEASE REVERT !!!
I have several Gmail accounts, all now called GM.
This update has zero worth and makes the app less useful.
I just updated to the latest K9 and now all of my accounts are showing up with two letters in a circle and that really stinks. Please give us the option at least in settings to put it back the way it was. I have several Gmail accounts and they’re all the same except for the color so now I have to memorize the colors that is nuts.
It was perfect showing the full account name. Please bring it back at least as an option to turn on.
The new account overview is absolutely useless if you have more than 2 accounts. Return to the old design or make it an option. Otherwise I have to leave k9. I wonder how someone can design such a stupidity.
The two letter button is disgusting. With the same provider, the same two letters for each account. There is only a difference in color and you cannot immediately tell which mail account it is. The old one was much better. If you only have a small display, it is now confusing. Please take a step backwards.
2 letters don’t help. Return to the former design with clearly visible account names.
I agree. I would be happy if there was a way to change the initials, but I don’t think that’s possible. The old way was way better as I was able to see what account it is.

What an unhelpful, unfriendly user interface downgrade. The 2 letters are very useless, much as in outlook, please revert it or at least offer the ability to choose Classic or Modern display options.

The settings should be found in the hamburger menu and the refresh button in the 3 dot menu. Stettings and refresh is not logical to be found in the account show menu.
The unhelpful 2-letter account buttons have just appeared today on my mobile. I concur with the other objections to this change and for the same reasons; I’ll add the easiest way I have so far found to go to a particular email account is to repeatedly tap on the active account name shown at the top to cycle through them where previously I could select the desired account directly. Please revert this change or make it an option.

Thanks for this extremely useful email app. Unfortunately, the latest GUI Update makes it completely impossible for me to find the mailbox I am looking for. They all have the same two letters in a circle. I haven’t found any option to change the way how the mailboxes are displayed.
I hope it will be possible in the future to change this display style.
Yes this! I have 3 Gmail accounts for different and now that all say GM and Inhave to open each one to figure out what account it is 
How can I revert to the previous version??? Is there an archive somewhere? Is it at all possible?
I haven’t seen any improvements to make up for this confusing UI change.
I’m sure some folks spent a lot of time and effort designing and implementing this change – but did anyone vette this new UI? Run it by some non-developer users for feedback before releasing it?
