While checking apps on my phone I noticed the cache for this app is 6.25g.
Even after clearing the cache it instantly goes back.
Why is this happening ?
How can I clear the cache ?

Do you use IMAP? Then maybe clearing filders locally might help assuming that you still have all relevant mails stored on mail server
