Any chance to fork the old version as a new (paid) app?

Hi,

I understood, that some folks think that 5.800 is better than the old versions.
But there are also many people (especially those with multiple mail accounts) who want to go back to the old version.
Can we find someone who would fork the old version to create a “new” android app?

I would buy this “new” app and spend…let’s say 5€ for that.
Anyone else?

Android does not support downgrading an app. So you have to uninstall the app, then install the old versions you want to continue using. The old version targets an old version of android so can no longer be uploaded to the google play store unless some big rework is done to meet the play store rules
