I had turned on the VPN but did not send any email. I turned it OFF and later tried to send email to myself at Spectrum.Net and it failed.
I got an error message.
I checked and the VPN was off. I even restarted the phone, tried again and the error was still present. The IP address does belong to Google VPN.
At some point, the email went through but I still had the error.
I finally exported my settings, removed K-9, reinstalled it, imported settings, reset passwords, and the error did not occur.
Strange?
