Verizon.net account uses AOL OAuth and fools K-9

K-9 is set up to recognize accounts that use OAuth, like AOL. I have a Verizon.net account, which is now handled by the AOL server, and uses AOL OAuth. However, K-9 only gives OAuth as an option when the account name matches AOL. I sort of tricked the program by changing the account name to use aol.com, but this then screws up the name of the account after I go through OAuth.

Suggestions? I wish I could just select OAuth, or that K-9 would rely on the name of the server, and not the name of the account. Please fix.

What do you mean with that? You can always change the account name from the settings screen.

I did change it. But an identity of “schulman1 a aol.com” still shows
