Verion 8.2 update dropped Unified Inbox option. Fix it or I’m gone please.

Not for me. Unified inbox is still there.
Settings | General Settings | Display | Show Unified Inbox
It’s about 40% down on my screen.
Also, release notes for version 8.2 say:
“Unified Inbox enabled only when multiple accounts are configured.”
Could this match your situation? But not sure why you would have enabled it in first place when you do not have multiple accounts…
This is quite negative. Please return the unified inbox.

Unified inbox does not make sense when you have only ONE account, does it?

It might do, e.g. with server-side filtering, to multiple mail folders, that you also want to check all at once. I use it that way (but with multiple accounts too).
The unified inbox can still be enabled if there’s only one account set up. With Thunderbird for Android/K-9 Mail 8.2 it just won’t be enabled by default.
