When selecting any particular email when the window opens up the text is not visible however if I select from the three dot menu ‘Edit as new’ all the text appears, strange but true! Can anyone suggest a workaround?
Make sure that “Android System WebView” and Google Chrome have the most recent updates and then restart your phone.
Thank you for your reply and information, I always make sure that all apps and system files are updated on a regular basis, sometimes daily, so I don’t know how these two could have been missed.
I’ve now updated both and restarted my phone and joy of joys the messages are being displayed like they used to be.
BTW… The webview app when I searched for it on the playstore didn’t come up as already installed and needing updating whereas Chrome did but needed updating, the only webview install choice was a beta version which I installed but didn’t ‘run’ after install but restarted the phone and everything is working fine now.
