I am having problem adding GMX mail accounts to K-9.
Can add on Outlook and Mailspring.
Outgoing (SMTP) mail.gmx.com
Port 587
STARTTLS, TLS or encryption
No joy with K-9 so far. Each time it fails, Need to reset my password

If you search this forum for recent POP3 messages, the general advice is to use IMAP instead. Being that once you download messages, there is no way to export them or to handle them.
GMX’s imap settings are at IMAP Server Data
