Thunderbird has support for MS Exchange. Will the new K-9 Android-Thunderbird also support Exchange?
Thunderbird currently doesn’t support any of the Exchange-specific protocols without using a third-party add-on.
However, support for Exchange Web Services (EWS) in Thunderbird is currently being worked on. We do plan to add support to the Android app eventually. But there’s a lot of things we need to get done before that. So I’m guessing it’ll easily be more than a year before we even start work on that.
