The behavior of K9 Mail seems to have changed recently. If I scroll down in my inbox and swipe to delete, the inbox gets reset and I’m moved back to the top of the inbox. This is making it unusable.

Can you help identify when this changed? What version are you on? Might be worth filing an issue on github for this.

I’m running v10.0. I suspect it has to do with the number of messages in my inbox. I have almost 4,000 messages. I don’t see this behavior in any of my other inbox’s even though I have other accounts with the same provider but fewer messages. Maybe the behavior changes once you hit some threshold? Like 3,500? I’ll clean out my inbox and see if the behavior changes.
I’ve confirmed that the number of messages causes the issue. I pared my emails down to 1,400 and no longer see the issue. I still don’t know where the threshold is that causes the behavior change.
Instead of clearing out, you can also reduce the timeframe to be synchronised.
I only sync at most 3 months of mail on most of my accounts as there is not much more I need on my cellphone. For the rest I have my laptop computer.
