Spectrum - help me to use new configuration required.to send e-mail

Discovered outgoing mail from my RoadRunner account were not being sent. Incoming works fine, Spectrum says to update both settings for my account
I get error message from Spectrum “unable to parse TLS packet header” when trying to send.

Their site says SSL - on tor SMTP & IMAP
Protocol IMAP
Incoming and outgoing Server - mail.twc.com
Incoming Server Port - 993
Outgoing Server Port - 587
Requires Authentication - Yes, or checked.
I also have tried to remove your app from my device and reinstalled it. The default settings which you say is not trusted, using a mobile.charter.net sever doesn’t work for my e-mail address. I hope you can help.

Try setting your outgoing server to use StartTLS. The submission port on 587 is typically not configured to use implicit TLS and usually needs to receive the STARTTLS command first.

Thanks. Tonight I used your suggestion and was able to send e-mails through K-9 using my Spectrum account and settings mentioned above
