Spam folder missing on one device

Hi,

I run k9mail 9.0 on 2 Android devices using POP3.

My email server has a Spam folder. One of my devices shows the Spam folder. The other device does not.

Clicking Refresh Folders did not refresh the folder list.

How can I get the Spam folder to appear on both devices?

For various reasons, switching to IMAP is not an option.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @dbc327

Ummm… I believe you are mistaken. POP3 does not support folders, so any spam folder you have on a device which is using POP3 is a local folder, not the same as the folder on the server. It might just have the same name. (Unless I am SERIOUSLY mistaken.)

You can’t, unless you switch to IMAP.

Some people tend to say this, but when looking into the details it is usually based on misunderstandings about the capabilities of the IMAP protocol and IMAP clients.
