I didn’t find the answer in the FAQ or through a search.
Because it’s fast and reliable, I use POP on my desktop computer to download emails from my ISP… but that means that emails that I occasionally send from my Android phone running K9 aren’t available on my computer.
Is there a way to export K9’s Sent folder and import it in Thunderbird, and without creating duplicates?
I know it’s not as sophisticated as IMAP, but if it does the job…
Thank you.

Edit: Apparently, K9 doesn’t support exporting emails, but someone suggested configuring each email account (can’t be done for all accounts in one go) so that each sent email is automatically BBCed to a given account.
If Thunderbird can’t be configured to move those automatically to its Sent folder, at least it provides an easy way to have a copy when using POP on a desktop computer for those of us who don’t trust their ISP’s IMAP server and would rather stick to POP.
On desktop computer you use POP.
In K-9 you use IMAP I guess?
OK, normally all mails sent by K-9 should be stored in Sent folder as well which then should be seen on desktop computer.
Could you check your folder settings in K-9 for the lokal Sent folder if it is bound to a server side folder? Settings / account / folders / Sent folder.
What does it mean? That K9 will autocreate folders locally and/or remotely as needed?
BTW, how come I don’t see the same folders depending on the accounts? Were they created by my ISP when setting up the IMAP server and possibly changed later?
K9 creates the folder locally for your account. Also your mail provider should create them on their server for the account. K9 tries to request and map the names for these folders so local and server folder can be synched. But sometimea this automatic mapping fails (for whatever reason) and hence it ia not synchend.
