Show remote images

K9 ver. 6.602. Android.

I would like to find a way to show all remote images all the time and I cannot find a setting to avoid having to click on the 'show remote images" button on an open email.

Please also mark this as solved

Can you mark your own reply as the solution, so it is visible in the first post?

I marked it as “solution” I cannot find “solved”.

That’s what that means. Thanks for updating the designated solution. It makes it more helpful if someone finds your topic in the future.

To change the display of images in the message body when reading an email. This is achieved by:
Go to Settings
Select the account to change
Select “Reading mail”
Select Always show images
Select one of 3 options:

  1. No
  2. From contacts
  3. From anyone.

Then exit back out of settings.

I tried this and it did not solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

A better solution would be to have a check box "Always show images from … ’ (the sender of the currently open message). Opera mail has this, I thought K9 once had it too, but I don’t find it in version 8.0.
