Sent mail that is impossible to find

Hello, I am using K9mail on a Redmi 11 T. Mails fail to be sent from my phone. It wouldn’t be that much of a problem if I could at least retrieve the text to use another software to send it. But I can’t find it, neither in my drafts, my sents, my junk or my trash. Is there an easy way to at least get the text back without having to rewrite it ?

I am not good with open source softwares so if you have solutions, please explain them like I don’t know anything.

Those mails should be in your Outbox - but no idea if that’s an automatic folder or one that has to be assigned manually. For me all accounts automatically showed it.
