Sent emails not appearing in sent folder.

I know this has been the subject of many discussions on the forum and I have read many of them. I have K9mail version 9 (I think and android 13. Since 3rd March sent emails have stoped appearing in my sent folder, they seem to end up in my outbox and I get a notification saying they have not been sent. Why?

I do not seem to be able to find half the settings described in past forum replies, for instance i have been unable to find an “upload sent messages to sent folder” setting. At the bottom of the “sending mail” menu I see “Quoted text prefix” followed by "Outgoing server settings, there is no “upload sent messages to sent folder” option between those two as I have seen on screen shots in form replies.

If the mail still stuck in Outbox folder then there seems to be a problem with sending in first place, not with copying it to Sent folder.
And it also seems that K9 tells you that as well.

Did you try to do the accou t setup steps again for both fetching and sending? During that you should get more detailed information if there is a problem with connecting your mail peovider.
