Sent e-mail missing from sent folder (but gets delivered)

Hi all,

I’m experiencing an issue when sending an e-mail using the K9 app.

Once I click the send button the e-mail completely disappears from my mail account. It doesn’t show up anywhere I can find: not in any folder, not when searching through the account, neither in the K9 app nor using the mail provider’s web interface.

But the e-mail still gets delivered to the recipient(s)!

Is this a bug or is there something I can do here?

Current versions: K9 11.1 (last updated on 27th Aug), Android 13
Last e-mail send without issue (as best as I can tell): 19th Aug
First e-mail send with this issue: 20th or 21st Aug

Debug logging was enabled but I can’t seem to find where it was saved. If anyone can help me there, I’ll provide the debug data as well.

So I found this GitHub issue in the meantime which pointed me to the “Upload sent messages” setting. :face_with_peeking_eye:

After enabling this, sent e-mails seem to be stored in the sent folder again. Still, it seems that this setting got disabled somehow as the issue appeared without me making any deliberate changes to the settings.
