I had a problem while in China that if I added an attachment to an email, it would appear to send it but in fact would not. I thought it was a China problem, but now that I am back I have the same problem. Clicking send the email disappears as though it sent, but it does not show up in outbox or sent box.

It happens only if attachments are in the email.
This did not start happening until October, prior to that I had no problems unless the attachment was too big.
A little more information might be useful so that someone can respond. What device? What version of Android? What version of K-9 Mail? How is the outbound SMTP configured? Does this happen with any destination address or only one? Does this happen only with an email attachment or with any email? The more information provided, the more likely someone will have some ideas that could be pertinent.
