Was sending a message. Poped to another app to verify address, when i came back to K-9, IT WOULDN’T LET ME CORRECT THE ADDRESS! What’s up with that? Were only machine’s, we make mistakes, let us correct them.

You cannot change the sending address completely on the fly, but you can choose from pre-defined identities.
I attempted to duplicate your report, and was able to change the sending identity, even after changing to another app and back.
Are you talking the recipient address? It becomes immutable as soon as you click out of the editing dialog. You don’t even need to leave the app. While it is easy enough to work around, I can see how this could be annoying, especially if you were editing an ad hoc address.
It may be worth submitting a feature request.
