Prevent accidental deletion of an email in Inbox

Occasionally I have an email that I want to retain in the Inbox. Is there a way to “lock” it to prevent it from accidentally being deleted?

Assuming you are using IMAP, you might want to make a separate mail folder on the server and then use the K-9 “move” option to move these messages to that folder. The messages will be available to K-9 (or any other mail client you use), but out of the inbox so less likely to be deleted accidentally.

Thanks for the input - actually I’m using POP3 - guess I need to bite the bullet and switch over to IMAP! LOL!
