Welcome to the forum!
K9 is used by many with their business and university office365 / outlook accounts.
You’ll need to ask your University IT administrators to set this up for you.
They first needs to register the app for OAuth 2.0 authentication in Microsoft Entra and grant IMAP and SMTP permissions on your account. More info here.
