Suddenly the notification sound is VERY soft. It used to be fine.
I’m pretty certain that the volume of any sound on your device is controlled by your device, and nothing K-9/TBird control.

I had this happen too! It’s super annoying when it suddenly drops. Sometimes Android links the ‘Notification’ volume to the ‘System’ or ‘Ringer’ volume, so it’s worth double-checking all the sliders in your sound settings. Also, if you’re on a newer version of Android, try going into the K-9 settings → [Your Account] → Notifications → Notification Settings (the one that opens system settings). Sometimes you can tap the actual word ‘Messages’ there to find a separate importance level or sound override that might have been throttled.
