Starting with 5.801 when I delete an email from the notification bar sometimes the message doesn’t fully delete. The notification remains and the count still shows on the app icon. If I open K-9 on a few occasions I find the message still in the inbox; however, if I open the message it’s just a blank white screen. Other times the message does delete but the notification and count remain. Most of the time it all works properly. I have found I can clear the notification by swiping it in the notification bar.
The behaviour has continued with 5.802. It seems to be random I can’t find a pattern for it.
