New mobile phone - Neues Handy

Hello,
I have a new Samsung mobile phone and have transferred all data using a data cable and smart switch. When I open K9 on the new mobile phone, I am asked for a password. If I no longer know this, what do I do? Delete and new installation?

Ich habe ein neues Samsung Mobiltelefon und habe per Datenkabel und Smart Switch alle Daten übertragen Wenn ich auf dem neuen Mobiltelefon K9 aufrufe, werde ich nach einen Passwort gefragt. Wenn ich dies nicht mehr weiß was mache ich dann? Löschen und wieder neu installieren?

It asks for the password of your normal email account, not something K-9 specific. Surely you still know your email password?

I uninstalled k9 and reinstalled it and entered my email address
Then I get a message saying configuration not found. What does that mean?

It means that you need to enter the server details manually by pressing the button on that screen
