New layout not OK

That’s why I prefer FairEmail. You can configure nearly everything. It takes a bit of time to get into that program, but it is worth it.

Yesterday, I installed and am trying out FairEmail. Very nice so far. Seems intimidating at first with all the options, but the defaults are pretty good. The account wizard worked perfectly setting up all my mail services. I like how the other common folders like Trash and Spam can also be unified.

I did pay the US$6.49 for the Pro version, although I think the only option I’m really using right now is to color the bar in the unified Inbox for each service.

5.6 won’t install on 64 bit phones.

We need someone to write a 64 bit version of what was a fantastic interface before the dev at the time totally screwed it up.

Why? If all the security patches that have been implemented since then are irrelevant to you, there is no need to rewrite the app. You can import the old code to Android Studio and just change the compile target to 64 Bit. Most of the necessary adjustments will be automatically applied. The remainder of code to be modified should be handleable.
