Where are the details? What’s the error, which phone + Android version, which K-9 version?
Nobody can help you without details 
Android version 14, oukitel wp35 pro, nothing happens if I like open look in screen shot, k9 version 13.0 in older version working

On what version of K9 did you observe the ability to open new emails by long pressing on the K9 launcher icon?
And for clarity, do you mean long press to open a newly received email or to create one?
I’ve just tried installs of K9 version 8 and 11 and they don’t display that feature. Neither do my existing installs of Thunderbird v13 and beta v14.03.
I’m running Android 15 on Oneplus 10 Pro. Possibly it only works on earlier versions of Android.
I don’t see any in-app setting that might need enabling for that feature.
