I have used k9mail for yearS, On my new Motorola with android 13, k9mail is not working properly. Most of the time it do not get new mails until I go i to the inbox and drag my finger down. I just had 2 mails stuck in outbox,refusing to send them, when i made a new test mail i worked the two in outbox still stucks. Without help I am forced to change to something else.
Make sure you have “battery optimization” disabled in your system settings for K-9. If it also has a setting to allow (unrestricted) background activity then enable that too.
