I see the last two recent emails (both from today), then there is a big gap and the list continues with emails from 2021.
I cleared already the locally cached emails (Clear local messages in folder settings) and refreshed the folder Sent Items, however, there is no change and I still see the gap.
I verified with Thunderbird (Desktop) and there I can see all messages. Why K9 Mail suddenly struggles to show me all messages?
assuming imap … check to see what imap server folder your k9 “sent folder” setting points to. then, if what you see is different than what you see with thunderbird-desktop for the same folder, check how you have k9 sorting the output - both what it’s sorting on what the order.
Also check the poll and push settings for your sent folder. It probably defaults to none, meaning no sync.
I did all this already (sorry that I did not mention it). However, I tried it again to make sure I did not miss anything without success.
Also: I set the Sent Messages folder manually as a test to Sent messages instead of automatic but that did not help either.
I also tried afterwards to Clear local messages, still without success.
So if cleared it’s fetching the emails but still with the mentioned big gap.
I think I figured it out. However, I would consider it only as a workaround since it’s not the expected behaviour in my opinion.
When I got to Settings → <account> → Fetching mail → Local folder size and select all messages (instead of 100 messages as it was selected before)
I get now all messages.
What is not expected that with the 100 messages setting I don’t get the last 100 but some (random?) 100 message. Looks like a bug to me.
