I’ve noticed that lately when in Unified Account view, if you read a message and request the full email, it puts the email at the top of the list. (I order by latest first). And it keeps that ordering. Bug? Feature?
You likely have “Arrival” rather than “Date” selected as the sort criteria.
I think arrival is the timestamp when the message downloaded on your phone. When you downloaded the full message, the timestamp would have updated. The message now having the most recent timestamp is placed at the top of the list.
Selecting to sort by “Date” will show messages in the order they were received by the server.
