cannot be properly downloaded and opened
I recently started having problems with K9 Mail. Could not find the cause/issue. Decided to do a K9 Mail clean install but found out that Thunderbird (new owner of K9 Mail) came out with a new app called Thunderbird Mobile. It is basically a re-badged K9 Mail with some improvements. Installed it and all my problems went away. Give it a try.
