K9 is closing immediately after start

This morning I started updating my Samsung Tablet with a new Android update.

Now each time I try to start K9, it will be closed immediately.

Android recommends to put K9 in deep standby ???

What can I do ?

No idea what “deep standby” is supposed to be, but regarding the crashes:

  1. Clear the app cache from your android settings - apps. Don’t clear data of it unless you have your settings & accounts backed up!
  2. Update K-9 to the latest version 6.400.

If none of that works I hope you have a backup and can simply uninstall + reinstall K-9.

Some more infos might help narrow down the issue btw, like which Android and K-9 versions you’re using.
