K-9 prompts for contacts access whenever the app is opened. Any way to disable this? One dismiss should be enough to never prompt again.
I just checked on my device (S7)
I am asked with above message. I have to press Ok. Now an Android permission dialog shows up where I can grant or reject the permission.
There also I can check an option not to be asked again. This works fine for me even if I reject to grant permission.
Is this not the way it works for you?
I have tested on version Beta 5.916
