Issue with marking mails as read

The issue looks like that. I always keep emails as read, very rarely as unread; and the behaviour is strange - I mark emails as read - all of them. Then they are kept as read untill a new email arrives - last ones which I have marked as read suddenly become unread. I can’t understand why is that - looks like a bug.
P.S. it doesn’t matter if I mark it within the specific mailbox or connected one.

Nevermind. Titan email is unfortunately garbage. It’s an issue on their side and not on K9mail application. The ticket can be closed.

I have the same problem, the emails that come in are shown as read, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and no help for 2 days.

If your email provider is also Titan then the previous reply + solution are for you.

If it’s a different provider then details are needed, like K-9 + Android version on which device.

K9 Mail version 6.804 using a Xiaomi 13t pro mui 1.0.6.0 Android 14.

I also have a Xiaomi 11t pro with the same version and it works without any problems.
