I installed thunderbird beta today. I clicked imported from the application", I see K9 mail but I have an error message “searching for reading the settings file”
I can wait for the next update if it will be corrected in it?

ah I see a version for the end of October 
I see that k9 mail v8 is required but this is not offered by google play. will there be a proposal soon for an update of k9 mail?
It’s been out just as long as Thunderbird, as a Beta. Scroll down a bit on Github.
First export your K-9 settings to your phone. THEN go find the file in Thunderbird Beta on Android.
In K-9, go to Settings, scroll down if you don’t see past your accounts, then Export Settings.

If K-9 is updated to the latest Beta 8.0b1 then Thunderbird can import settings without you having to save them first in K-9. T-Bird seems to grab them directly from K-9, which is pretty cool

Yes, I did see the direct import with the latest version of k9.
I think you updated via the apk as this is not offered by g. play.
My question is when there will be a k9mail update in the store so that more people can try it out
