Hi,
I send a mail to my self when haven’t got a network connexion.
And have this error :
I’m not sure which behaviour you are expecting…
When you are offline, you cannot communicate with your mail server. Thus, you cannot send an email to yourself.
Compare it to regular snail mail. You wouldn’t put a letter addressed to yourself into your home when you are far away. Instead, you’d regularly stamp it and drop it at the next mailbox. The post agency would then handle your letter and deliver it to your home. – What you are trying to achieve would be comparable to being overseas and teleporting home to drop the letter.
This outbox_state error has been seen several times in the past on this forum. The dev recommended in several cases to recreate the account. Some type of corruption occurred.
Emails should be queued for sending and when a network is present.
Is your device short on available storage space?
Thank you for you’re reply.
I need to send some data from a zone without or with very intermittent internet connexion.
And, i do this since many years without errors.
recently have this error for the first time.
if i launch K9
then stop internet WiFi and GSM
i can write me an email, and this mail is visible and readable in the receive box.
And that is the scenario I don’t understand. If you have no connection, the mail should be stuck in your outbox. It should only be delivered to your inbox after it was successfully sent to your server. And for that you need a connection.
So I guess that you did have a (maybe very weak) connection in the past. Thus, your mails went to your inbox.
