How to transfer sent emails to a new device

im switching devices…how can i move my sent messages from K9 on the old phone to the new phone?

If you use IMAP, they are on the server and therefore on your new phone. If you use POP3, they are basically lost.

That is only true even for IMAP if the local sent folder is correctly mapped to the server’s sent folder. There are plenty of requests on this forum about this.
