How to save email addresses to a contact list

Hello
Just installed K9 mail to android (lineage os) seems just what I need but is there any way to start a contact list of email addresses and also save an email address that I have typed to it.
Help would be appreciated.

K-9 doesn’t have an address book, see here for example.

Thanks for that Nimeuth, that’s why I couldnt find it.
Could I ask another question. When I have composed an email how do I send it.

Near the top of the app while writing an email, you’ll see three icons. The middle one, an arrow pointing right, will send the drafted message.

As you seem new to K9 I would also recommend you to check the folder mappings between lokal K9 and remote folders for Sent, Archive etc.
Settings / account / Folders.

Normally K9 tries to maps these for synching - but sometimes automatic mapping does not work and then None is set which results that e.g. mails you sent are only available to local Sent folder but does not sync to remote Sent
