How to change the "security.tls.version.min" to 1?

Hello,
In addition to my personal accounts, I would like to synchronize my academic email on K9Mail. For this to work with Thunderbird, I have to go to the configuration editor and change the line “security.tls.version.min” to 1.
How can I do this in k9Mail ?

For me, it’s very annoying because all my professional emails are sent to this academic address.

Until now, I was transferring them to a personal address but I became aware of the environmental impact of these transfers of thousands of mails per year and it would be great to be able to do without them.

According to the information I could find, setting “security.tls.version.min” to 1 allows using TLS 1.0 (and newer) in Thunderbird. Currently K-9 Mail only disallows SSL 3.0 (the predecessor to TLS 1.0). So you should be able to use K-9 Mail without any changes.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work; when I enter my imap settings, I see :
“Configuration could not be completed, unable to connect to server”.
I would like to point out that I don’t have any problems with 9 other accounts that work perfectly.
