When selecting one or more messages in the message list of a mailbox, I used to see these messages displayed with a colored background. For some time now (I’m not sure what happened), the colored background has become pale gray and no longer makes it easy to distinguish the selected messages.
Can anyone tell me how to change the color of these selected messages?

Same here.
After the latest and greatest K9 app update now marked messages are no longer highlighted in pale red but rather in light grey.
This is not very user friendly.
Updates should not compromise Ux.
Now, I went through all preferences but could not identify where to configure the preferred color for marked messages.
Please advise.

The light grey is absolutely user unfriendly. In bright environment you don’t see any difference. Return to former red background.

Same here.
In dark mode, it’s impossible to see which message has been selected - so I can’t use K9 in the long term.
Please change the interface as soon as possible - before more users switch to another app…

No, I’m the duplicate. But I am more technical (regexp suspicion) and include the font issue, and the checkbox selection suggestion.
(I can of course live with all of these issues but needed to post them. I really like the “32KiB” download limit and a lot of other features of K9-Mail)
