How can I add a Yahoo account?

I would like to use my yahoo account in K9-Mail how is that possible because an error message keeps coming up.

Knowing what the error message says would be useful, but I’m going to guess that it’s indicating that you have an authentication problem. Yahoo (among other providers) is now requiring an “app-password”, if the 3rd party mail client doesn’t support OAuth2. See:

I just got a new phone and am trying to set up K9, but Yahoo is not letting me add new app passwords. Anyone else having issues with that?
