Google says App is locked

I had to change my google account password.
K( then prompted me to log in to my account again. I did. Got to the point of two factor validation from Google, which was successful.

Then, up pops “This app is blocked”, in relation to K9
Any attempt now to launch K9 results in the Blocked message.

What now? Is there a solution that won’t drive me insane?

Back up your K-9 settings and switch to Thunderbird instead. It can import the settings and looks the same, but shouldn’t be blocked by Goolag.
