Gmail - There is Nothing in my Inbox

I"ve set up my accounts. No errors. It’s acting as if we’re all good to go.

But there is nothing in my inbox or out box.

I’ve sent test emails to myself and have received nothing.

Any ideas? I’m a total newbie - just got my degoogled phone.

Did you set up and use an “app password”, and also allow “less secure apps” on your gmail account? See: https://forum.k9mail.app/t/gmail-setup-could-not-finish/650 (e.g., the link on my first response in that item).

I had the same problem as described in the link provided by njeyaakili above. On the 10th of November Google apparently turned on 2-step verification. I had to turn it off before I could turn on “less secure app access”. When I did my gmail account immediately worked and I could once again receive emails from my google account.
