Gmail only shows Outbox

I have two email accounts set up, and it’s been fine until recently, when my Gmail account is only showing me the Outbox. No Inbox, no Trash, no Spam; and the Unified Inbox is only showing emails for my other account.

This is complicated by the fact that I have had a massive system failure and lost (temporarily I hope) my Google password, but Google will not let me reset it because they say I’m logged in already. So I can’t log out and back into Gmail to test it.

If you aren’t on the latest K9 version, this might be different.

  1. Menu top left to expand the accounts
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Tap Manage Folders
  4. Do you see your other server side folders?
  5. If not, three dots top right, refresh folder list

That should work, I think. Unless your Google account has other problems.

It is possible to disable Gmail labels (folders) in IMAP.

  2. labels
  3. show / not show in IMAP
