Gmail import imap issue

Hello,

When importing a Gmail account into K9 (imap), oldest emails are fetched before the others.

E.g. if I wanted to get my 2018 emails in K9, I would have to fetch all the 2014 2015 2016 2017 first.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Do you mean the sort order? You can change that by pressing “sort by”.
