K-9 Mail 11.1
one POP3 account, one IMAP
I downloaded K-9 from the webstore a long time ago. My needs are simple, and K-9 is quite satisfactory. However, if the current version is 12.1, I am a little behind. I have not seen a setting which will force an update check. Is there any way to do this without trying to download again? TIA.

Google play is still on 11.1. The newer 12.1 update is not available there yet.
The 12.1 update is available on the f-droid store and github for download.
You need to obtain the update from the same store as your current install to upgrade, otherwise a fresh install of the newer apk will work.
Yes, I neglected to mention that I originally downloaded it from the Google Play Store. I forgot that. Without downloading it anew from one of the other sources and re-installing, I suppose I will have to wait for Google to catch up. Thanks for the response, and I will mark this as a solution.
