If this has been addressed before, please direct me accordingly. When emails come in, especially on the POP3 account, the font is often so small it is hard for my elderly eyes to read. Unless I am overlooking something, I cannot find a way to enlarge the font to make the emails more legible. I realize that K-9 Mail may work slightly differently on a Chromebook from the way it works on an Android smartphone. Is there a way to enlarge the font of incoming emails to make them more legible? TIA.
Try increasing the system font size within Android’s settings to see if it helps.
Within the body of an email, you can use pinch to zoom to increase the size.
Developers removed prior font size controls as part of the apps ongoing UI redesign. They’re working on alternative options to bring back some customization in a future update.
The “pinch to zoom” works, by which I presume you mean placing thumb and index finger on the screen and separating them. That works to enlarge the size within emails, so the problem is taken care of as an expedient. I am an elderly keyboard jockey, so it did not occur to me to fiddle with the screen. (I am not up on all the latest and greatest technology.) Thanks for the response. That solves the problem adequately, so I will try to mark this query as solved.
