Why exactly? It’s the same app, same features - just different name. Why should I have to sign up at a different site after all those years here? I mean I don’t have any issues with TBird but if I did … that makes no sense. Guess I’ll have to switch back to K9 then 
There was no demand in this banner - people can post where they wish. But the day will come when there is less of a presence of Thunderbird in this forum.
And users who post at Thunderbird for Android Community Forum | Mozilla Support get the benefit of seeing Knowledge Base (KB) articles which don’t exist here in the forums. Also, documentation here is gradually becoming out of date.
In the V 18.0 about section, the website and user forum links point here. Expect people to post where you send them to.
