Error when using OAuth2 (Cannot serialize abstract class)

Same problem, but got the following error when it failed checking the parameters of the entry server:
Cannot serialize abstract class
com.fsck.k9.mail.oauth.XOAuth2Response

Server names were good (imap.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com)

This is a different problem. The fact that Cannot serialize abstract class com.fsck.k9.mail.oauth.XOAuth2Response is displayed is a bug in K-9 Mail. It should be fixed in K-9 Mail 6.801 once that is released.

However, that bug in K-9 Mail is only triggered when Gmail returns an error. So fixing the bug will only return more information about the actual problem, not make the connection work.
